An employee of the Irkutsk Research Institute of Agriculture — a branch of the Siberian Federal Scientific Centre of Agro-BioTechnologies RAS (SFSCA RAS), Head of the Laboratory of Medicinal Plant Cultivation Technology, Evgenia Valeryevna Matveeva, has successfully completed an internship at several laboratories within the institutes of SFSCA RAS.
At the Biochemistry Laboratory of the Siberian Research Institute of Animal Husbandry (SibNIPTIZH), Evgenia Valeryevna mastered the method of supercritical fluid extraction of biologically active substances from plant samples of Rhododendron adamsii (sagan-daila) and Siberian spruce. She also mastered the technique of identification and separation of biologically active substances using high-performance liquid chromatography.
At the Laboratory of Automation of Microclonal Propagation of the SFSCA RAS, she mastered the method of microclonal plant propagation with subsequent adaptation. At the Institute of Chemicalization, she acquired the technique of hydrodistillation using the Clavenger method to obtain hydrolate and essential oil from the raw material of lemon balm (Melissa officinalis). Upon completion of the internship, a certificate was issued.
