The Laboratory of the History and Organization of Veterinary Science of the Institute of Experimental Veterinary Science of Siberia and the Far East SFSCA RAS, in accordance with the SFSCA RAS R&D Plan, which forms the basis of the State Assignment for the Provision of Public Services, the program of fundamental scientific research in the Russian Federation for the long-term period (2021 –2030), conducted research work on the following topics for the period 2024 –2025: "Study and evaluation of the effectiveness of ongoing veterinary reforms using the example of constituent entities of the Russian Federation (with the preparation of a plan for assessing the effectiveness of veterinary reforms in the constituent entities of the Russian Federation"), "Study of the effectiveness of veterinary reforms using the example of constituent entities of the Russian Federation (with the development of schemes and models for assessing the feasibility of the existing structure of veterinary services and improving veterinary services for livestock, including through improving the staffing of the veterinary service in the constituent entities of the Russian Federation and increasing the efficiency of using its labor resources).
For the period 2026-2030, the laboratory of the history and organization of veterinary affairs plans to conduct research work on the topics: "Assessment of the implementation of veterinary reforms in various constituent entities of the Russian Federation", "The influence of the Mercury system on the epizootic situation in animal husbandry in the Novosibirsk region", "Determining the optimal number of veterinary specialists for animal husbandry in the Novosibirsk region and the reasons for their insufficient number in this industry", "Improving the system of organizational measures to optimize the structure and functioning of the veterinary service", "Study of the blocks of the veterinary registry of the Veterinary Department of the constituent entity of the Federation”.
