The II All-Russian Scientific and Practical Conference "Digital, robotic and information systems for agriculture" was held at the site of the Forum "Technoprom", where the strategy of digital transformation of the region's agroindustrial complex was discussed and the latest technical and technological solutions were presented.
More than a dozen technologies are used in the agricultural sector of the Novosibirsk region, for example, elements of precision farming are used by 137 farms on an area of almost a million hectares, the system of parallel driving - by 176 farms on an area also about a million hectares, and satellite monitoring of agricultural equipment and differentiated fertilizer application are also used. The livestock industry is also actively implementing software products for accounting, analysis, storage and processing of information on animals, combined with RFID tags. Three robotic dairy farms are under construction.
The director of SFSCA RAS introduced one of the sections of the conference.
The pace of technological re-equipment of agrarians in the region is growing every year, the number of purchased machinery with digital solutions for precision farming is increasing, full-cycle greenhouse complexes with automated climate control systems are created, herd management systems are introduced in the farm animal production.
"The amount of state support for technical re-equipment of the agro-industrial complex in our region is one of the most significant in the Russian Federation, the First Deputy Minister noted. The state program provided for about one billion rubles annually only to compensate agrarians for the cost of new equipment - a huge amount of money. This year that sum has increased to 2 billion 653 million rubles".
The government itself is also actively introducing digital platform solutions for the agro-industrial complex, such as information systems of traceability and control VETIS, Mercury, FSIS "Grain". In the future, it is planned to create a national digital platform "Digital Agriculture" as part of the implementation of strategic objectives by 2030.
The conference provided an opportunity to present different aspects of the digital transformation of agriculture on one platform, provided participants with the opportunity to share knowledge and experience of implementing and using the latest technologies and digital solutions, scientific achievements, to discuss problematic issues and develop solutions that contribute to the digital maturity of the agricultural sector.
The participants discussed such relevant topics as the application of new generation biotechnology and market trends in biologically active components, digital transformation of breeding and breeding work in dairy cattle breeding, application of digital platforms for differentiated application of liquid and granular mineral fertilizers, including the experience of fertilizer and seed application by fertility zones, introduction of robotic and telemetric systems in agriculture, import substitution in corrective navigation signal for precision agriculture technology to name but a few. Leading experts in the discussed spheres were the speakers of the conference.
As a reminder, the First Conference "Digital, Robotics, and Information Systems for Agriculture" was held in June 2021 at the SFSCA of the Russian Academy of Sciences in Krasnoobsk.
