Scientists from the SFSCA RAS have conducted a preliminary assessment of the expected yield of the spring wheat variety *Novosibirskaya 31*

A preliminary assessment of the expected yield of the spring wheat variety *Novosibirskaya 31* has been conducted in a field experiment by the Soil Fertility Laboratory of the Siberian Research Institute of Forage Crops, branch of the SFSCA RAS. Based on the condition of the ear at the stage of milky ripeness of the grain, the potential yield level is estimated at 6–8 tons per hectare, significantly exceeding last year's corresponding indicators (4–5 t/ha) as well as the historical yield averages for the Novosibirsk Region.
