The Siberian Research Institute of Agricultural Economics (SibNIIESKh) of the Siberian Federal Scientific Centre of Agro-BioTechnologies RAS hosted an International Scientific and Practical Conference dedicated to the institute's 70th anniversary. The conference served as an open communication platform for exchanging experiences and discussing prospects for the development of the agro-industrial complex of Siberia and rural areas amid modern challenges and digital transformation.
The event was attended by leading scientists, representatives of government bodies, and the agro-industrial complex from various regions of Russia and abroad. The participants were greeted with welcoming addresses by:
- Andrey Viktorovich Shindelov, Deputy Chairman of the Government of the Novosibirsk Region - Minister of Agriculture of the Novosibirsk Region;
- Ivan Grigoryevich Ushachev, Scientific Supervisor of the Federal Research Center " All-Russian Research Institute of Agricultural Economics " (FRC VNIIESKH), Academician of the Russian Academy of Sciences;
- Alexander Ivanovich Kostyaev, Academician RAS, Chief Researcher at the St. Petersburg Federal Research Center of the Russian Academy of Sciences (SPb FRC RAS);
- Alexander Evgenievich Suglobov, head of the All-Russian Research Institute of Organization of Production, Labor and Management in Agriculture, Doctor of Science in Economics;
- Evgeny Vladimirovich Rudoy, Rector of NSAU, Corresponding Member of the Russian Academy of Sciences;
- Pavel Nikolaevich Volokitin, Head of the Investment Policy Department of the Ministry of Economic Development of the Novosibirsk Region;
- Lyudmila Vasilievna Tyu, head of the Siberian Research Institute of Agricultural Sciences, Doctor of Science in Economics.
The conference addressed key areas of development in the agro-industrial complex and rural areas, including innovative methodologies, sustainable development, human resources, digital transformation and food security.
The program included 41 reports, 5 academicians, 2 corresponding members of the Russian Academy of Sciences, 37 doctors of science, 39 candidates of science, as well as doctoral students, postgraduate students, master's students and students took part in the work. The participants represented more than 20 cities of Russia, as well as foreign countries - Azerbaijan, Belarus, Kazakhstan, Mongolia and Tajikistan.
Following the conference, employees of the Siberian Research Institute of Agricultural Economics were awarded certificates of honor from the Siberian Branch of the Russian Academy of Sciences, the Ministry of Agriculture of the Russian Federation and the Novosibirsk Region, the Ministry of Science and Innovation Policy of the Novosibirsk Region, the Legislative Assembly of the Novosibirsk Region, the Administration of the Novosibirsk District, and the Siberian Federal Scientific Centre of Agro-BioTechnologies of the Russian Academy of Sciences.
