Leading researcher Lyubov Nikolaevna Savelyeva took part in a professional skills competition among veterinary specialists from animal disease control stations in the Trans-Baikal Territory as an expert.
On May 28, 2026, the State Veterinary Service of the Trans-Baikal Territory, at the Mogoytuysky Agrarian-Industrial College, held the first professional skills competition “Best in Profession” with the aim of popularizing the profession and exchanging experience between veterinary specialists in the region.
Contestants from the region's districts demonstrated their high professional skills, passion, and competitive spirit.
Based on the results of a fair competition, the best of the best were determined in the theoretical and practical stages of the competition:
- in the nomination "Best Veterinarian" - Firsova O.P. (Borzinskaya ADCS);
- in the nomination "Best Veterinary Assistant" - Ganya M.M. (Chernyshevskaya ADCS).
The winners and competitors who took 2nd and 3rd places were awarded cups, cash certificates and diplomas.
The Service's management, experts and competition participants decided to hold this competition annually.
Lyubov Nikolaevna Savelyeva, Candidate of Science in Biology, leading researcher, participated as an expert from the Research Institute of Veterinary Science of Eastern Siberia – a branch of the Siberian Federal Scientific Centre of Agro-BioTechnologies RAS.
