Professional approach, focus on results and high efficiency of using available resources by scientific teams were noted by the participants of the meetings of the Academic Council of the Siberian Federal Scientific Centre of Agro-BioTechnologies of the Russian Academy of Sciences (SFSCA RAS).
At the completed session, four meetings of which were held at the end of December, reports of the heads of scientific departments and branches were heard, significant decisions were made on further improvement of the activity of the largest agro-biotechnological center of the country beyond the Urals.
Opening the meeting of the Academic Council, Director of the SFSCA RAS Kirill Golokhvast noted that all SFSCA institutes coped with the set tasks and showed high results of research activities.
“The obtained results show not only the responsibility and efficiency of the teams of scientific institutes, but also the enormous potential that we have for further development of the SFSCA RAS, - emphasized Kirill Golokhvast. - On behalf of myself, the Center Directorate, I would like to thank all the employees, researchers, our young scientists for their active work and high professionalism. I am sure that the transformations we are carrying out will bring positive results in the near future, and the SFSCA RAS will become not only a worthy successor of the traditions of the Siberian Branch of VASKhNIL, but will surpass it in the quantity and quality of scientific developments”.
The meeting of the Academic Council considered the candidates nominated for election as foreign members of the National Academy of Sciences of Belarus. In addition, the candidates for election as foreign members of the Russian Academy of Sciences were proposed for election as the President of the Mongolian Academy of Agrarian Sciences, Academician of the Mongolian Academy of Sciences, Professor, Doctor of Science in Economics Agipara Bakey (Mongolia) and the Chief Scientific Secretary of the Mongolian Academy of Agrarian Sciences, Professor, Candidate of Science in Engineering Gombo Gantulga (Mongolia).
The Scientific Council made and approved the changes in its composition, reviewed and approved the composition of the SFSCA Breeders' Council.
A large group of employees were awarded with Certificates of Merit and Acknowledgments of the SFSCA RAS according to the results of work in 2023 during the session of the Academic Council.
