At the beginning of the summer season, the acceptance of work on the major renovation of the premises of the Laboratory building of the Kemerovo Research Institute of Agriculture – a branch of the Siberian Federal Scientific Centre of Agro-BioTechnologies RAS, was carried out. The work was intended for the organization of a biotechnology laboratory with an area of 316.5 m2.
The acceptance committee, headed by Konstantin Yuryevich Kirichenko, Deputy Director for Operations at the SFSCA RAS, gave an objective assessment of the results of the major repairs carried out by the OOO “StroyGarant”. During the inspection of the premises, the actual scope, cost, and quality of work were determined to be in compliance with the design and estimate documentation and building codes for the safe operation of the facility. The commission identified minor issues that the contractor is prepared to address as quickly as possible.
In general, the Kemerovo Research Institute of Agriculture, branch of the Siberian Federal Scientific Centre of Agro-BioTechnologies RAS, thanks the management of the Siberian Federal Scientific Centre of Agro-BioTechnologies RAS for their comprehensive assistance in developing the branch's infrastructure, which makes it possible to increase the production volumes of virus-free source material in the in vitro and in vivo culture. Of course, the branch staff also thanked the contractor, represented by Elena Aleksandrovna Ovchinnikova, for the timely and high-quality work, taking into account the requirements for ensuring the safety of personnel and the sterility of experiments.
