In the current year, in accordance with the research plan, employees of the laboratory (V.A. Petruk, T.V. Borovikova, M.A. Grigoriev) continue long-term phenological studies of non-local varieties of garden strawberries with the purpose of their introduction in the conditions of Western Siberia.
In the collection nursery, observations are being conducted on 128 varieties of garden strawberries. Indicators such as winter hardiness, the general condition of plants before winter dormancy and in spring during the transition to vegetation, the progression of phenological phases, resistance to diseases, and yield are being studied.
The commission has verified the implementation of the research program in accordance with the thematic plan for 2025, including the methodology for establishing experiments, conducting observations, designing experimental plots, and maintaining primary documentation. All field experiments are correctly designed, methodologically sound, necessary records and observations have been carried out, and primary documentation is being maintained. The commission rated all experiments as excellent.
