Kirill Golokhvast, Director of the Siberian Federal Scientific Centre of Agro-BioTechnologies of the SFSCA RAS, Corresponding Member of the Russian Academy of Education, Alexander Mikhailovich Zakharenko, Acting Director for Advanced Projects of the Buryat Research Institute of Agriculture – branch of the SFSCA RAS, and Alexander Kimovich Ulanov, Deputy Director for Advanced Projects of the Research Institute of Agriculture – branch of the SFSCA RAS, took part in the meeting on the amendments to the Law of the Republic of Buryatia “On State Support of Agriculture in the Republic of Buryatia”.
During the meeting, chaired by the Deputy Chairman of the Government of the Republic of Buryatia – Minister of Agriculture and Food of the Republic of Buryatia Galsan Evgenyevich Dareev, information was heard about the activities of the Buryat NIISKh, branch of the SFSCA RAS in the field of plant breeding and agro-biotechnological work on plant protection, increasing the profitability of agricultural production.
According to the Minister of Agriculture and Food of the Republic of Buryatia, the region intends to support the introduction of innovative developments, actively use best practices, scientific achievements in the farms of the Republic of Buryatia.
At the suggestion of Semyon Sergeevich Matkheev, Chairman of the Committee on Land Issues, Agrarian Policy and Consumer Market of the People's Khural of the Republic of Buryatia, the relevant amendments were made to the Law of the Republic of Buryatia “On State Support for Agriculture in the Republic of Buryatia”.
