Konstantin Yakovlevich Motovilov

Konstantin Yakovlevich Motovilov (born June 5, 1940, Lom-Komary, Kirov region) is a Russian scientist in the field of production, storage and processing of agricultural products, corresponding member of the Russian Academy of Agricultural Sciences (2007), corresponding member of the Russian Academy of Sciences (2014).

Biography

Graduated from Krasnoyarsk Agricultural Institute (1967).

1967—1973 worked as an engineer, shop manager of a poultry farm.

1973 Novosibirsk State Agrarian University: Post-graduate Student (1973—1975), Senior Researcher (1975—1986), Associate Professor (1986—1993), Professor (1993—1994), Department Head (1994—1999).

Director (1999), since 2013 Deputy Director for Innovation Activities, Scientific Director of the Siberian Research and Technological Institute of Agricultural Products Processing of the Siberian Federal Scientific Center of Agrobiotechnologies of the SFSCA RAS (SibRTIAP SFSCA RAS).

Part-time Professor of the Department of Standardization, Metrology and Certification of the Novosibirsk State Agrarian University.

Doctor of Science in Biology (1991), Professor (1993), Corresponding Member RAAS (2007), Corresponding Member RAS (2014).

Author of the scientific research on the development of theoretical and practical aspects of agricultural products processing.

Honored Scientist of the Russian Federation. Awarded the Medal of the Order “For Merit to the Fatherland” II degree (2007), the V. I. Vernadsky Gold Medal, the I. I. Sinyagin Medal “For Special Contribution to Agrarian Science in Siberia”. Received 40 certificates of authorship and patents for inventions.
